Michiana Science Café: A Conversation about Nuclear Facts, Fiction, and Future by Peter C. Burns

The Science Policy Initiative at Notre Dame is hosting its first Michiana Science Café in 2024 and are thrilled to be featuring a presentation by Peter C. Burns, the Henry J. Massman Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences, Concurrent Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Director of the Center for Sustainable Energy (ND Energy) at the Universityof Notre Dame. He will discuss the current state of nuclear energy research in the United States and the future implications of nuclear energy as an alternative energy source. This event is free and open to the Notre Dame community and general public.
