Global Secular Trends Driving Innovations in the Water World

With over 32 years of experience in the water sector, Dr. Beverley Stinson is the Executive Vice President leading AECOM’s Global Water Business Line, a world-class provider of water infrastructure planning, design, and consulting services. She holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and is recognized for her proven ability to provide today’s municipalities, industries and governments with cost-effective solutions to today’s greatest water challenges, wastewater and water resuse expertise with an emphasis on applied research and innovation.

Stinson's work focuses on developing cutting-edge technologies and identifying novel solutions for addressing emerging issues like drought mitigation, water reuse, Green energy transition, energy neutrality, GHG reductions and PFAS. She has led numerous large Water Master Planning Programs, and has conducted extensive research into biological nutrient removal processes, co-digestion, One-Water and nutrient and energy recovery processes. She is passionate about advancing the water industry and improving the quality of life for communities around the world. Her award-winning projects have been documented widely in technical publications and presentations.
