Lunch and Learn with Matt Ulman '00, NextEra Energy

Matt Ulman

Join Notre Dame alumnus Matt Ulman ‘00, vice president for NextEra Energy’s Integrated Supply Chain Operations, to learn about his career path and opportunities at NextEra Energy. Matt is currently engaged with the company’s renewable, fossil, and nuclear operating projects, Florida Power & Light, and corporate services. During his ten years at the company, other roles have included work in finance, accounting, valuation, diligence, sales, project development, engineering and construction, and operations. He also has worked for the Boston Consulting Group and served in the US Navy as a submarine officer. In addition to earning finance and history degrees from Notre Dame, Matt graduated from the Naval Nuclear Power School and earned an MBA from The Wharton School.

NextEra Energy owns America’s largest electric utility company, Florida Power & Light Company, along with NextEra Energy Resources, one of the world’s largest renewable energy generators and leaders in battery storage. Through their subsidiaries, they also operate seven commercial nuclear power plants.
