Join the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering for an energy lecture titled: "The Energy Transition: Why It's Hard, and How Engineers Can Help" presented by Frank Kelly '83. Following the lecture, a 20-minute Q&A session will be held. All are welcome!

Dr. John Kelly retired in 2019 from ExxonMobil after serving in various leadership roles for 30 years. He is now self-employed. While at ExxonMobil, he directed their downstream technology development and IP strategy in process modeling, optimization, and crude oil characterization. He also led the corporate-wide Modeling Enterprise to leverage learnings and capabilities across the Upstream, Downstream, and Chemical companies. 

Dr. Kelly received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
