CBE GSO Graduate Research Symposium

Save The Date

The CBE Graduate Research Symposium is a forum for CBE graduate students to present their research to a diverse audience comprised of their peers, department faculty, alumni, and guests from industry and academia. Over the course of the day, students will showcase research from a wide range of disciplines, including energy and sustainability, nano- and micro-fluidics, simulation and theory, systems engineering, materials science, nanotechnology, and bioengineering.

The 5th iteration of the Symposium in 2019 will feature a keynote address from Dr. Yiannis Kaznessis, a Notre Dame alum, former faculty member at the University of Minnesota, and currently the CEO of General Probiotics. Throughout the day, CBE graduates will showcase their research in poster sessions judged by representatives from academia and industry and in oral presentations by the winners of the Best Paper and Best Candidacy awards. The day will conclude with awards for the best presentations, followed by a reception for the guests.
