Mr. Ariel S. Castillo, Ph.D. Candidate at The George Washington University, and member of Operations Research, Business Transformation Agency, Department of Defense, will discuss current research that is being done to assist in solving climate and energy issues by determining energy demands of the DoD facilities and non-tactical vehicles that could be met by solar generation. In addition, the research includes the development of a decision model for a major transition by the DoD to solar energy technologies for its current operations.
