Studying Conduction of Nematic Liquid Crystals
I am passionate about materials science, and how I can use what I know in materials science to affect the energy sector. A better understanding of the conduction of liquid crystals could help lead to new developments in photovoltaics, display technology, drug technology, and many other fields. In my research I use computational techniques to measure electrical conduction of specific phases of liquid crystals. I hope to write a publication, with the help of my professor, about my findings. Writing a publication will make this knowledge available to the world for future use in potential energy uses.
