Research Background

Prof. Coad explores the design, modeling, and control of innovative robotic systems to improve human health, safety, and productivity. Related to energy, she is particularly interested in using robots to efficiently inspect energy infrastructure such as power plants, and to collect other information useful to the energy sector. She is also interested in the design of energy efficient robots.
