Research
Prof. Johnson’s research interests are in the areas of computational mechanics, parametric design, isogeometric modeling, structural analysis, and high-fidelity computation. Her work focuses on computational mechanics investigations of engineering structures, emphasizing parametric modeling and performance-based design of complex engineering systems using isogeometric methods. Her research includes computational modeling for renewable energy, aerospace engineering, and healthcare applications.
