Prof. Cerrone’s research is focused on integrating fundamental knowledge of materials systems (albeit organic systems like biofilms or inorganic systems like additively manufactured metals) to better assess durability. He leverages competencies ranging from crystal plasticity to biochemistry to inform understanding of requisite lifing capability.
