Brennecke Receives 2014 E. V. Murphree Award in Industrial and Engineering Chemistry

Dr. Joan F. Brejfb_murphree_awardnnecke, The Keating-Crawford Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and recipient of the 2014 E. V. Murphree Award in Industrial and Engineering Chemistry, is presented her award at the 247th National ACS Meeting & Exposition in Dallas, Texas on March 18, 2014. Since 1955, The ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Co. has sponsored the E. V. Murphree Award in Industrial and Engineering Chemistry to stimulate fundamental research in industrial and engineering chemistry, and the development of chemical engineering principles and their application to industrial processes. Nominees for this national award must have accomplished outstanding research of a theoretical or experimental nature in the fields of industrial chemistry or chemical engineering.
