2021 U.S. C3E Women in Clean Energy Symposium and Awards: Justice and Equity in Clean Energy

Clean energy, environmental justice, and social equity are at a critical juncture in the United States. All Americans should share in the benefits of the energy transition regardless of income, race, ethnicity, gender, and geographic location. These benefits include sustainable energy technologies, new job opportunities, healthier people, and a healthier planet. At this year’s tenth U.S. C3E Women in Clean Energy Symposium and Awards, thought leaders will discuss the latest advances in the energy transition, this year’s U.N. Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), what lessons the United States can learn from other countries, and what U.S. successes are replicable in other countries, especially those with developing economies.

Leadership Dialogue: Influencing from the top: How corporate leaders can advance social equity and environmental justice in the energy transition.

Panel Sessions:

  • An equitable clean energy revolution: Investing in disadvantaged communities.
  • Can data driven solutions give us more equitable energy solutions?
  • Global perspective on energy access in developing economies.

Award Presentations: Eight mid-career women will be recognized with C3E awards for their contributions to clean energy, and one woman will be honored for her lifetime achievements.
