PD&GS Spring Seminar Series: Bridgette Befort and Daniel Felton

Feb21 Pdgs

Postdoctoral research associates and graduate students associated with ND Energy affiliated faculty are invited to the monthly PD&GS Seminars. Seminars are presented by group members about their research to facilitate cross-disciplinary research collaborations and to provide a forum whereby postdocs and graduate students may gain a better understanding of the energy-related research programs at Notre Dame.

Seminars also provide an opportunity for participants to practice their talks before a major conference and to obtain feedback from their peers.

The spring seminar series will be held virtually. Postdoctoral scholars and graduate students interested in attending can contact Koby Keck at kkeck@nd.edu to receive the Zoom link.

Scheduled speakers for February's seminar are:

  • "Integrated molecular and process design for the sustainable separation of azeotropic hydrofluorocarbon refrigerant mixtures" by Bridgette Befort (Dowling lab)
  • "Formation of Uranyl Peroxide Nanoclusters Under Irradiation" by Daniel Felton (Burns lab)
