The Center for Sustainable Energy at Notre Dame (ND Energy) will hold its 2nd annual research symposium, GLOBAL TRANSFORMATION: Ensuring Access to Affordable, Reliable, and Sustainable Energy for All, on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in the Notre Dame Conference Center at McKenna Hall. Rachel Kyte, Chief Executive Officer of Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Sustainable Energy for All and Co-Chair of UN-Energy, will be the keynote speaker.
Other invited speakers will be Luciano Castillo, Kenninger Professor of Renewable Energy and Power Systems in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University; Jun Chen, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University; Shelie Miller, Jonathan W. Bulkley Collegiate Professor of Sustainable Systems at University of Michigan; Vijay Modi, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University; and from Notre Dame, Peter C. Burns, Abigail Mechtenberg, Tom Purekal, and Patrick Regan.

Following the presentations, a poster session will be held for Notre Dame graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to showcase their energy-related research projects.
