Mark Walker is the Director of business development for Kuert Concrete, the oldest central-batch, ready-mix concrete operation in America (Est. in 1927). In addition to serving this position, Mark serves as a member / consultant with several Great Lakes States professional organizations such as individual state chapters of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Seven different Floodplain & Stormwater Management Associations and is an elected board member of the Indiana Association for Floodplain & Stormwater Management (INAFSM). As an educator in handling certain stormwater, erosion control, sustainability, and urban infrastructure issues, Mark also leads Kuert Supply Centers hardscape division, involving contractor training and outdoor living design / consultation.

Mark was raised in Saginaw, Michigan and holds a degree in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurialism from Purdue University. He is an active lecturer, writer, presenter and facilitator with a passion for community building and neighborhood development. Mark’s interests include beekeeping and supporting the Boy Scouts of America. His first career aspirations were to be a game-show host.
