Notre Dame-Purdue Symposium on Soft Matter & Polymers and Poster Session

Fluoscent Images

The 5th Annual Notre Dame-Purdue Symposium on Soft Matter & Polymers and Poster Session will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Notre Dame’s McCourtney Hall.  This one-day symposium addresses the general synthesis and characterization of synthetic soft materials and their broad application in biomedical fields.

This year’s invited speaker is Northwestern’s Professor Nathan Gianneschi, Jacob & Rosaline Cohn Professor in the Departments of Chemistry, Materials Science & Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering. Several other faculty researchers from Notre Dame, Purdue, and Illinois will give talks.

In addition to the talks, graduate students and post doctoral fellows are invited to showcase their research results in an afternoon poster session, where prizes will be awarded for the best posters.
