PD&GS Luncheon Seminar: Larry Milks, Graduate Career Consultant

Larry Milks

Postdoctoral research associates and graduate students associated with our affiliated faculty are invited to our monthly PD&GS Luncheon Seminars. For September's seminar, Larry Milks from Graduate Career Services will discuss programs and services offered through the Center for Career Development.

Larry Milks serves as the Graduate Career Consultant for the College of Engineering. Through a combination of coaching and advising, he seeks to enable students to discern, prepare for, and achieve their vocational sweet spot of thriving productivity. With a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering, and master’s degrees in science education and global studies, Larry brings a diverse mix of education and work experience to this position. He has worked as a product design engineer, as a high school physics/electronics teacher, as a program development administrator, and as a career services provider.  Larry has also lived and worked internationally for 16 years, experiencing and enjoying the cultures of many different nations. Through professional development as a Graduate Career Consortium member, he seeks to serve students with excellence and looks forward to engaging with students as they prepare for their next life venture.
