First Annual Notre Dame Stewardship & Sustainability Summit

Alumni and friends are cordially invited to the first annual Notre Dame Stewardship & Sustainability Summit
Saturday April 2nd at noon – Sunday April 3rd at 11 am

The Summit will formally launch the new Notre Dame Stewardship & Sustainability Network, which aims to deepen connectivity and collaboration among faculty, students, alumni and friends with a passion for stewardship and sustainability, and to strengthen Notre Dame’s impact as a global platform for these values. The Summit will be an opportunity for us to reengage with our commitment as change agents, cultivate mentoring relationships to foster future leaders, and chart a bold vision for Notre Dame leadership in stewardship and sustainability.


Program highlights include:

  • Opening keynote address by President Emeritus Rev. Edward “Monk” Malloy, C.S.C.
  • Collaborative development of Network structure and goals to maximize our collective impact and support Notre Dame’s leadership in global sustainability
  • Teaching and Learning Values-Based Leadership, facilitated by Mary Gentile Ph.D., Director of Giving Voice to Values
  • Mentoring sessions with Notre Dame students seeking careers in sustainability
  • Mass at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart
