For the third year in a row, Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center of Goshen College will be hosting a Sustainability Summit for college students who are or want to become sustainability leaders on campus, or wherever you call home. This three-day event will equip you with knowledge, skills, and passion that will help you become a force for positive change.
Dates: Friday, February 19 to Sunday, February 21 (Registration deadline is Monday, February 15)
Location: Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center of Goshen College. Most events will take place at LEED-Platinum Reith Village and the historic, renovated Kesling Farmstead
Registration fee: $50, which includes all sessions, meals, and lodging. Or, when you register, you may apply for a scholarship that could cover $25 of that fee. Click here to register today!
Who should attend: Any college student or recent graduate who is passionate about being a sustainability leader wherever you call home. Drawing on Goshen's core value of being Christ-centered, the Sustainability Summit focuses on connections between the Christian faith and sustainability. However, you need not be a Christian to attend and gain valuable experiences!
- Friday Evening: Prof. Aimee Buccellato, Notre Dame University
- Sunday Morning: Dr. Steven Bouma-Prediger, Hope College
