Mark your calendars for the next Science Alive event at the St. Joseph County Public Library in Downtown South Bend on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Join ND Energy for another day of hands on demonstrations and experiments to learn more about energy!

During this year's event, over 2,300 children and their families came to enjoy the many educational activities.  For example, in JINA’s activity room, 584 children made the most of inviting, hands-on experiments, where one little boy told his parents, “Wow, that was a lot of science!”  Another 525 learned about energy in the cSEND room, and hundreds went through the other exciting activity rooms and interactive exhibitor booths, as well.

The new Science Alive Passport Activity was a big hit, too, with 344 children entering the drawing and 23 young prizewinners delighted to further their learning with science based gifts as telescopes, an aquarium, fossils, solar kits, and more!

The St. Joseph Public Library is located at:  304 S. Main Street, South Bend, IN  46601.
