Spring 2021 Geothermal Collegiate Competition
A team of Notre Dame students from the College of Arts & Letters, College of Engineering, and Mendoza College of Business participated in the Spring 2021 Geothermal Collegiate Competition administered by the Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Known as Geothermal ND and led by Samuel De La Paz '22, a mechanical engineering major with a minor in energy studies, this team became one of the finalists and subsequently submitted the following website. Although it was not selected for an award, it serves as a powerful educational tool that captures the benefits of geothermal as a viable, clean and sustainable energy source and encapsulates the current initiatives on Notre Dame's campus.
