Since its inception in 2014, this joint meeting has fostered collaboration, scientific networking, and camaraderie between the faculty and students of the University of Notre Dame and Purdue University. In addition, the annual event offers a valuable and accessible training opportunity for students and postdocs to share their science with the regional Soft Matter & Polymers community.
The 2024 symposium will be hosted at Notre Dame on Saturday, October 5. Professors Matt Webber and Yichun Wang will serve as the Notre Dame organizers again this year, along with Professors Qi Dong and Jinguo Mei from Purdue. Professor Bozhi Tian from the University of Chicago has accepted the invitation to serve as the Keynote Speaker.
In addition to faculty talks, there will be a poster session for students and postdocs along with meals and networking opportunities.
