Erin Ludwig ‘22 is an environmental engineer working as a Development Senior Analyst at Deriva Energy, a renewable energy company that owns and operates 5.9 GW of wind, solar, and battery storage projects. Formerly known as Duke Energy Renewables, Deriva is based in Charlotte, NC, and is a portfolio company of Brookfield, one of the world’s largest owners of renewable power.
During this Lunch and Learn session, Erin will share information about Deriva Energy, her day-to-day work, and future internship opportunities with Deriva. As an energy studies minor alumna, she will discuss why she plans to stay in the renewable energy industry to continue lowering carbon emissions and protecting our planet.
