Postdoctoral research associates and graduate students associated with our affiliated faculty are invited to our monthly PD&GS Luncheon Seminars. For August's seminar, Joanne Fahey from Notre Dame Research will discuss "Professional Use of Social Media."

Joanne Fahey joined Notre Dame Research in 2014 as its first Director of Communications. She leads the Research Communications Team and oversees all research communications strategies and tactics, including branding, web, social media, storytelling, video, print, and more. Joanne is a 2003 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, with a bachelor’s degree in political science and peace studies. She also holds a master’s of science in environmental science from Trinity College Dublin. Before returning to her alma mater, Joanne spent nearly 11 years in Ireland, serving as Communications Manager at the Fulbright Commission of Ireland and as a Senior Environmental Communications Consultant with RPS Group.
