Lecture-"Praised Be, USA: Embracing & Acting on Laudato Si'"

Daniel Misleh, Executive Director of the Catholic Climate Covenant will have a panel discussion with students about engaging the campus community with Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si'. Before his work with the Covenant, he spent 11 years in the department of Justice, Peace and Human Development at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, and three years in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati's social action office. He joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in 1982 where he met his wife, Susie (also a volunteer), and studied theology with the Franciscans in Berkeley, CA to obtain a masters degree. Dan's undergraduate degree was from Xavier University in Cincinnati, is hometown.
