T.J. Kanczuzewski, President of Inovateus Solar (a local company), will discuss what colleges are doing to promote solar energy on their campuses. He will give an update on how, why, and where universities and colleges are utilizing solar energy. He will also discuss the various approaches and hurdles that institutions face when embarking on solar energy opportunities.

A featured solar project by Inovateus is Notre Dame's Fitzpatrick Hall. The University uses the 10.4 kW solar installation as both a power generating system and research and development tool. The unique installation on the rooftop of Fitzpatrick Hall of Engineering employs two new thin film solar technologies that students and teachers can monitor for real time demonstration and instruction.
